150mm (15cm) wide whitewash Oak brushed and lacquered, with a total thickness of 14mm (1.4cm), of which 3mm is a wear layer. The 3mm wear layer means the floor can be sanded down upto 3 times. However, this shouldn’t be necessary for 10-15 years. The grade of the product is mixed, meaning it will have some knots, as is common with oak products. This product has texture to it from the brushing process. The installation system is click lok which means each board can be simply slotted together.

Each board has a 3mm layer of wood veneer that enables you to sand down and refinish the surface up to three times.
The flooring has been finished with a brush to create a textured feel.
Engineered wood flooring like this is very resilient to temperature and humidity changes, making it suitable for most rooms, including conservatories. The only exception is the bathroom.
Due to the stability of our engineered flooring products laying the flooring in rooms heated with water based underfloor heating is not a problem.
Each board is manufactured with a click system profile, so each board can simply be clicked together. Manufacturer’s recommendation is to tap the planks on the edge with a tapping block and rubber mallet to make sure they are clicked tightly together.
This engineered oak is typically installed as a floating floor with a 3mm underlay on the subfloor, providing protection from dampness and serving as a sound barrier and insulator.
This product has a mixed grade, so it will contain some knots, which is typical for natural wood.
Please keep in mind that the industry standard includes 10% for wastage and cut-offs, and 5% for visual grading. Make sure to factor this into your calculations when ordering.
