What’s the difference between click-lok and tongue-and-groove engineered wood?

There are two main installation types for engineered wood flooring: click-lok and tongue-and-groove. Click-lok flooring uses a mechanical locking system that allows each plank to snap together without glue or nails, making it an excellent choice for DIY installations. This system is especially popular for those installing floors in a hurry or without professional help.

Tongue-and-groove boards, on the other hand, have interlocking edges that require either adhesive or secret nailing. This method offers a more secure fit, especially across larger or high-traffic areas, and is often preferred by professional installers.
