The manufacturer’s recommendation is to tap the planks on the edge with a tapping block and rubber mallet to make sure they are clicked tightly together. This engineered oak is typically installed as a floating floor with a 3mm underlay on the subfloor, providing protection from dampness and serving as a sound barrier and insulator.
This product has a mixed grade, so it will contain some knots, which is typical for natural wood. Each pack contains boards of mixed lengths, offering a unique and dynamic installation pattern for a beautiful, natural-looking floor. Please note, an oiled finish isn't impermeable and might not be ideal for spill-prone areas.
